As I've had a couple of extra days off work this week I thought I would try some new challenges. I found Creative Inspirations through blog-hopping and this week they are looking for cards using only the colour Sepia.
The background paper is by Graphic 45 and I distressed it around the edges and inked it with Walnut Stain D.I. Then I cut a strip from a scrap of Kraft card and ran it through the cuttlebug in the Victoria embossing folder and gave it a light inking with Versafine Vintage Sepia. I made another border strip with brown Bazzill card and edged with the MS doily punch and attached a brown spotty ribbon. The stamped image is one I've had for a few years and again I used Vintage Sepia ink and coloured the flower in her hair with chalk. I cut out the circle using a nestie and embossed and inked around the edge with Walnut Stain and Antique Linen D.I.
By this time, I had realised that I didn't have any more brown Bazzill to layer the image onto so I had to fall back on Plan B, and found some ancient brown mulberry paper which I tore into, to give it an aged look. Finally, I added a rub-on sentiment up the side.
All materials came from my stash, I am trying to use stuff that I have had for ages so I have room for new things. My craft room is a very small box room and full up to the gunwales
as it is. Last week I bought a great new filing cabinet from Lidl for all my cardstock and cuttlebug accoutrements, (only £29.99) so now I am slightly more organised and it doesn't take so long to find what I am looking for as I have colour coded the drawers.

Another dreadful day for taking photo's, I'm so fed up with all this rain.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
