Getting Ahead

Every year I get behind making my christmas cards and find myself rushing to finish them at the beginning of December, but not this year, oh no. I have already made 20, mostly with Paula Pascual's extremely versatile christmas stamps. This card below uses her great designs.

EDIT- I'm entering this card into the Wee Memories challenge No. 24.

I came up with this other idea for a quick xmas card that also found a use for those sequins I've had in my stash for yonks.
I cut the wreath shape with a small circle nestie inside a scalloped nestie and then ran it through the cuttlebug in the Divine Swirls folder. The sentiment is by Hero Arts.

I don't know about you, but I'm not liking this new blogger one bit. It was much quicker and easier previously to upload your photo's, especially for technophobes like me who don't know all the computer jargon. It has been pants today, SO slow and the quality of my photo's is poor and not how they appear in Zoombrowser where I downloaded them from.(Honest!) Has anyone else had this problem?? As far as I can see the only advantage with the new system is the Preview facility, BLOGGER TAKE NOTE!

Must shake a leg now and get ready for work.
Enjoy your weekend,

Fiona x

  1. Your joy card is so fantastic and what an amazing idea! Love the two clean and simple cards here, even though I'm partial to that style, I think you've made two wonderful creations.

  2. Hi Fiona, lovely cards and you sound a bit like me as I tend to get behind on them too. I'm hoping to start mine next weekend at a stamp club I go to and am off to Ally Pally tomorrow as I need some more Xmas stamps.
I know what you mean about the photo uploading thing as it drove me crazy yesterday and I'm hoping they'll change it back.
    Have a good weekend.

  3. Both absolutely beautiful Fiona. I love your little wreath.
I tried new blogger and hated it. I use Flickr to upload my photos and enlarge them and combine it with the old blogger. Works just fine!
    Love Sarita xx
