Hello from Spider City

OK..., a slight exaggeration, but that's how it feels in this house at the moment. Have just got home from work and had to deal with a humongous spider, as it seems I do every night at the moment. Cannot possibly go to bed whilst they are at large in the house!
Anyway here is my latest make, nothing to do with Arachnids you'll be pleased to hear, but my first blogged Christmas card of the year. I followed sketch no.81 over at Card Patterns and came up with this very CAS creation.

The spotty paper was left over from another project and is from Kirsty Wiseman's Colour Burst of Fanciful Things CD, the stamps are new by Paula Pascual and to finish off I just added some gems and a couple of glittered die-cut snowflakes.

My car overheated on the way home from work late last night, so I'm off the road at the moment. Hoping my car repair man will be able to fix it without it costing me a fortune. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

  1. What a lovely creation. The repeating scallop element is such a great touch.

  2. What a really cool card and unique take on the sketch! Thanks for joining us at Card Patterns.

  3. Hey Fiona

You didn't send that spider round to me did you? we had a huge one on the stairs as we came up to bed last night.

Hope Kevin gets the car sorted today for you.

Love the Christmas card such nice clean lines.

  4. Hi Fiona
Lovin all your projects here particularly the live laugh and love cards. The stamping on the patterned paper looks fabulous - an inspired idea and even more superb in white. Sorry I've not been aroundmuch lately and thankyou for your kind comments. Hope the sun is shining on you and yours
    much love

  5. Really lovely card Fiona.
Sorry to hear about your car and the spider problems.
Know what you mean about the spider thing as I'm not keen on them either. My OH brought a huge one home in his office bag the other day but fortunately he didn't mind having to eject it.
Fingers firmly crossed on the car situation.

  6. I love all the scallops. Thank you for playing with us at Card Patterns this week.

  7. Beautiful Fiona, love this stamp set!
We too have had giant spiders recently, what have they been eating??
Hope your car is now fixed and that it didn't cost a fortune, I hate being without my car,
    Love Sarita xx
