....to photograph my latest creation as the sun made an appearance today. This card is my entry for Card Patterns and here is their sketch.
This is what I came up with.......
I used the Trendy Tree's set by Stamping Up for this card. The oval was cut by nestie and I inked it with Old Paper D.I. whilst it was still inside the die. I used Versafine for the tree's and sentiment which is by HobbyArt.
I'm quite pleased with this one, although one of the small tree's has not stamped perfectly but I didn't have any more of that cardstock, so I had to go with it.
Hey ho.
Thanks as always for your lovely remarks, they are appreciated.

ReplyDeleteWe have sunshine this morning and hope you do too.
I'm off out to make the most of it having spent all day yesterday worrying about what I thought was a poorly bunny but we think it was just tiredness after a bad night!!! My OH spotted a fox in the garden yesterday morning.
Hope you have a good weekend.

ReplyDeleteHi Fiona - just love your cards, especially this one. They are a real breath of fresh air after all the 'busy' ones around in Blogland. Definitely a case of less being more! Thanks again, and keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThis card is nothing less than stunning! The delicate colours combined with the subtle take on the challenge sketch make it a worthy winner.
ReplyDeleteI simply love it and hope you won't mind if I 'case' it sometime!
