and also to Clean & Simple's sketch challenge.
I haven't had much time for crafting this week but am now on days off so am getting some 'carding' in. This card is my third attempt, my first was abandoned as the cardstock was too textured for the image to be clear and the second was ruined by my grubby mitts!
This one's not going to win any prizes as there is a small smudge on the bottom left corner of the image and now I look at it, the sentiment looks a little bit squiffy, However, I need to get on with some housework so I'll have to go with it. The saucy lady is by PaperArtsy and the sentiment is by Paula Pascual, I used Distress Inks on a masked area of the card. Hopefully next week's entry will be better.
So thanks for looking and a 'happy hello' to my new followers.

The colours you've used for your card are beautiful, just as the stamp. And you never know.... Thanks for visiting me. Bye, Franka
ReplyDeleteA great image and love your colour choices. xx
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem with smudges Fiona & had to abandon too!! Love the image - I love Paper Artsy stamps :-)
ReplyDeleteLove it-that stamp's brilliant!And I couldn't see the smudge!
ReplyDeleteStunning card Fiona - the ink effect is fabulous and I love the summery colours you've used, so gorgeous! :) Love, Georgia xx
ReplyDeleteI'm forever washing my hands when I'm doing inky projects, but I still manage to smudge something or other somewhere along the line, but I usually manage to salvage something from my inkings as not all cards need to be one layer!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely though, with great gradation of colours.
Thanks so much
