Less Is More is celebrating it's first anniversary with an AQUA theme this week. I have tried to take part in as many challenges as possible as there are so few CAS challenges out there and none with hosts as diligent in commenting as Chrissie and Mandi. Also the "Limettes" are brilliant at giving praise and encouragement to each other, there just isn't another challenge in the same league.
As I mentioned last time, mojo was missing and I'm still running short on idea's this week but I came up with this none the less.
For this card I used an ancient envelope stamp which I found in a bargain bucket somewhere or other. It was heat embossed and cut out and then I cut a slit so I could tuck in 'a letter' which I have stamped with a Hero Arts definition stamp. The sentiment is an oft used one by SU and I stamped a postmark to one side. Finally I chomped the corner.
Thank you all for your recent good wishes for my new job which is going well so far, although some days I think my head is going to explode with the amount of information assimilated.
The anticipated snow has arrived, it started here about three hours ago, hopefully it won't be as heavy as the last two year's. I was thankful it didn't start earlier as it allowed me to dash out to a jumble sale. There was quite a queue half an hour before doors were due to open but I think the helpers must have taken pity on us all shivering outside in the cold and doors were opened early. I've never seen such a mad rush and there was plenty of jostling, however thanks to some marvellous JS tips from Vix I didn't get mown down in the melee and came away with four 50p items. Unfortunately no vintage bits, but two of my finds are linen, lets hope they fit!
a bientot,
