Here is a quick card for this week's Less is More challenge where the brief is One layer and use three stamps only. I used two stamps from SU's Vintage Vogue set and the sentiment was another boot fair find by my neighbour.
I scored a border to connect the design and used pink and plum dye inks for the flowers and sentiment and Spanish Moss Versafine for the leaves.
Last week I was the lucky recipient of this lovely parcel from the very funny Curtise whose brilliantly written blog usually has me snorting with laughter, and whose photo's of delightful vintage finds have me drooling with envy.
Curtise very cleverly not only sent me a jumper and skirt that I love but they also fit me perfectly. The parcel also contained a gorgeous basket which I anticipate will get much use this summer. (if it ever arrives) As if this wasn't enough she was then kind enough to bestow me with a blog award, I do feel very honoured! I must answer some questions in order to accept it, but that must wait until next time.
I'm on a night shift tonight and have lots to do before I go in. A neighbourhood moggy came uninvited through Prudy's catflap last night and sprayed the hall so I've been trying to eradicate the stench of cat pee with disinfectant all morning. Deep joy!
I spotted Jarvis Cocker coming through Gatwick this week at work, and apparently Katie Price also came through in her rollers and three inches of slap but I didn't see her, no loss there then, but couldn't help but think of her when I uploaded this video.
Miaow!!
Thanks for reading my ramblings, I'll be back soon.

Beautiful card, Fiona, it's so pretty. So pleased you like your goodies.
ReplyDeleteThe smell of cat pee is bloody hard to get rid of, isn't it? We have a stray tom cat who comes in for bed and breakfast sometimes, and makes his mark... Also in our hall, funnily enough! And we have 4 cats of our own, why on earth don't they gang up and stop him!
Oh Jarvis.. wonder if he was heading home to Sheffield? xxxxx
Beautiful CAS card!
