Near (thank goodness!)
I've had a productive morning, I've cleaned and tidied the filth pit otherwise known as my craft room and you can now see the desk and carpet! I've also been out for a constitutional this morning. Since starting my new and more sedentary job earlier this year I have put on a whopping half a stone which I am trying to shift. Even tho it was piddling down again I marched into the village and up to the allotments to pick some crops.
My runners were so late going in this year due to the appalling weather, I am still picking them now. I've a feeling said appalling weather is back!
Your local looks fab, I love the cheeky chalkboard and that gorgeous lamp.
ReplyDeleteYour courgette and runner beans are far more successful than our crop this year, a handful of paltry tomatoes and some munched lettuce! x
Great pics again. Love that sign outside the pub! Your veggies look scrumptious & I agree that it's been a bad year for growing anything.

I LOVE that pub - I wouldn't mind applying for that position vacant. We have BROAD BEANS in the supermarket this week - MMMmm my favourite! Sarah xxx
ReplyDeleteWell that does sound productive! Your local looks great, and you've done well to salvage any veg from this washout of a summer. I love runner beans! xxxx
ReplyDeleteThink you're right about the rubbish weather! Love the sign outside the pub!
ReplyDeleteNow that's dedication - going out in this attrocious weather to get some freshly-grown veg!
ReplyDeleteFab photos as always Fiona - and that pub sign is brilliant! I have a feeling you're right about that appalling weather. Vicky x
