In The Frame

Last night I caught up on some card making with this latest one for LIM's current challenge,  Frame It.

Simplicity itself, the aperature was cut with nesties and I sponged a background for the Wetland stamp (Memory Box) and the bird. (Inkylicious)
The sentiment, the same as last week's is by Penny Black.

Ta Dah Tuesday

I had to dash to Currys yesterday after Dad examined my washing machine which had been making one hell of a racket and pronounced it terminal.  Three hundred and fifty quid later (I also bought a small freezer)  and my laundry woes are sorted, just as well they can deliver this week as I came home to this mess earlier.

Bad Prudy, the throw on the sofa is now covered with little muddy footprints! I think she is feeling reckless today as she has also been  eyeballing a neighbours cat who had the temerity to stray into our garden. 'How very dare it!'  I must say it wasn't at all fazed by Prue, who soon got bored when there was no reaction and climbed down from the shed roof rather sheepishly.

I scoured a few chazza's this morning, there was not much to be had but I did find a scarf and a vintage tea-towel which I'll show you next time.

Ta ra.

  1. My boys do that especially when I've just changed my white bedlinen. And I actually bought some brand new leggings from a real shop which lasted two whole wearings before Bad Bobby jumped on my lap and made a hole in one. I could have wept. ( I don't get new clothes very often!)
    Your card is stunning!

  2. Fab card and a great sentiment!
Ours are being daft by a squirrel that's been standing on the sill on it's hind legs staring in at them. There's rugs and blankets all over the place! x

  5. Gorgeous card Fiona, love the inky background.
My washer is playing up too. It sounds like a jet engine. Hubby thinks it`s the bearings and is hoping to mend it. I`m hoping for a new one :)

  6. The card is gorgeous, Fiona. Ergh, I hate it when appliances die. I hate having to shop for new stuff, and spend so much money on something so boring, and I get overwhelmed by too much choice!
Oh naughty Prudy and her muddy paw prints. White bed linen is a no-no in this house, the cats would ruin it. We have a layer of cat hair everywhere as it is, and since at least 2 of my 4 are in killing mode, we have a layer of feathers and dead creatures as well. 3 birds and 1 rat so far this week. Nice.
The photo of your neighbour's cat studiously ignoring Prudy is hilarious! xxxxx

  12. A super CAS card. Love your little scene and the textured card. I can sympathise with the electricals - I got a new WM installed yesterday and last week the dishwasher went pop! What next! Xx
