Scavenger Hunt - February

Another late entry to Greenthumb's Scavenger Hunt! Due to the atrocious weather, photography has been limited so some of these have featured on my blog previously or been dragged out of the archives.

  F is for

 Fiona's feet
(with blingtastic toenails taken just before last years holiday)

3pm

The school bus drops off the local kids

Grain

Grains of sand on a Cornish beach

Lamp

I re-covered the shade with the pretty fabric and pom-poms.

Clock

Honey

Fountain

The most famous fountains in Britain?

Round

Sculpture at the Cass Foundation, Goodwood

Shadow

Prudy snoozing in the shadow of the wheelbarrow

Group

 The Bootleg Beatles
(note all the grey heads in the foreground!)

Repurpose

There's a lot of repurposing going on at the allotments. This bath is now a water tank...can't imagine it's been needed lately.

Clouds

Cumulonimbus?

Do have a squizz at the other entries and next months list of subjects.
If we can believe the weather forecasters it's going to be a great weekend, so enjoy... and thanks for looking.

  2. Gorgeous, Fiona! I always love your photos, whether they have featured on the blog before or not!
That pedicure was blingtastic, always good to see Miss Prudy, beautiful clouds and beaches, and your lamp makeover is gorgeous.
Ha, your Bootleg Beatles shot reminds me of going to see Richard Thompson. Simon saw a work colleague in the audience, and tried to point him out to me by describing him as "the balding, greying bloke in a leather jacket". Which didn't narrow it down in the slightest, that could have been said about half the people there!
No sun here, is it glorious with you? Have a great weekend! Epoustouflant, in fact. Oui oui, ma cherie! xxx

  3. These are great photos and a good idea to use ones from your archive. Particularly loving seeing some with some real sun!

I'm laughing about the Bootleg Beatles pic, how sad is it when music that we enjoyed at a particular point in our life just serves to illustrate that the clock in our heads doesn't reflect real time!

Ps don't know where you got your weather forecast from as its all Wet, Wet, Wet here! :-)

  4. Some great shots- and I really enjoyed seeing the summer ones as February was a dreary one with us too.
Love the one with the bathtub - here farmers use them as water troughs in the fields - never thought of getting a pic of one though.
    Must start hunting for March...

  6. I love your photos, you've got a great eye, you even made Brum look desirable!
The blingy pre-holiday nails rock. You'll be needing those again if this weather persists. The pom pom shade is gorgeous and so'd the cat! xxx
