Scavenger Hunt - March

I was much more organized this month and remembered to take my snaps earlier instead of leaving it to the last minute.  I loved the March subjects and hope I've done them justice.  I am getting braver and now ask people if I may take their photograph....I tell them I'm a photography student!  So far I've had no refusals.

Thanks to Greenthumb as usual for hosting the challenge

  3. I like the spoon necklace - as a necklace and as an interpretation of the topic! xx

  4. Great set of photos, all nicely taken. Lettuce was one of my possibilities yesterday when I was looking for crisp, and I had hoped to find some of those bracelets made out of forks or something similar for jewellery! I like you photos for flowers and M.

  7. Great set of photos. I love coloured doors, so it was lovely to a bright turquoise one and how original for your cutlery, a spoon fashioned into a necklace pendant, I think that's my favourite.

  12. A lovely variety of photos ~ starting with that magnolia just getting ready to bloom and give off that unique fragrance ~ also loved the tulips...so ready for spring colour! The necklace is stunning, and the turquoise door very eye catching. Loved all your choices.

  18. You're a really good photographer Fiona. Some really nice images there. I need to work a lot harder on mine, it's so rushed and not even straight. I feel seasick looking at my pictures.

  19. You got some great shots. Love the barber at work - I still haven't worked up the courage to ask people if I can take their pics. The magnolia is so pretty as is the cute brick house.

  20. These are absolutely exquisite and so cleverly thought out!!! The spoon necklace is so clever- I actually have a fork bracelet- WHY didn't I think of snapping that!?!?!
That cabbage looks very tasty and so crisp- I failed to get crisp. I just kept forgetting and then when I published it, it was on my phone so couldn't add anything!
Grate is SUCH a good shot- clever too!x

  21. Hello Fiona, I enjoyed tagging along with you through your scavenger hunt. Your photography is great. My favorite is the cabbage. I found you from a comment that you left on a sister blogger's site and now I am following you. I would love to have you visit my blog and maybe you will be so kind as to follow me, too. I so enjoy making new blogging friends.
    Have a lovely weekend,
    Connie :)

  22. Your photos are awesome, Fiona! I really enjoyed all the textures shown in the set. And the flower box! Every time I fly into Colorado from someplace with lots of water, I am blown away by how arid and brown the plains are. It's really quite stunning. I loved "scuppered!" ~ Haven't heard that in a long time! Have a great weekend!

  25. Just read your comment on Vix's post, you talking to your 14 year old daughter. I think shoes are the area where men and women differ so much. When I look at the shoes some girls and women wear it reminds me of the old Chinese bound feet. Those teetery high heels with the thick soles - much hated in A&Es up and down the country. Men would never put themselves through such torture!
