Scavenger Hunt - June

Another month has whizzed past so it's time for the Scavenger Hunt link up.  I didn't find this month's list too much of a challenge although my interpretations could have been a lot more imaginative.   You'll find other submissions and next month's list here.

B

10am

on Sunday 15th June. The London to Brighton Bike ride

Spoon

 at the Ardingly Antiques Fair

Puppet

I was positive I would find a puppet at the antiques fair but Sod's law, they eluded me, isn't that always the way when you're looking for something?  In desperation I suddenly remembered this knitting pattern although god knows quite why I bought it, it's way too advanced for my limited abilities.

You again

Oh do put that camera away, can't you see I'm having a stretch?

Water

 raindrops on alchemilla mollis

 Habitat

Soccer

support for our team at the post office.. before we were defeated!

Calm

the water at the local yachting lake

Manmade

or womanmade in this case, my frog blog win from Tracey

Open

 the local Italian restaurant

Steam

 is a bugger to photograph!

As always thanks to Greenthumb for hosting.

  1. Your habitat photo is beautiful and your comment on the steam one made me laugh!

  2. You have some great photos here but the fact that I paused for several seconds and called for my daughter to come over and look tells me there's a clear favourite: cat! The colours and textures in that photo are just purrfect. x

  5. Look at Prudy's stretchy back toes! Gorgeous light on the water behind the swan, and oh look, there's Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop, haven't seen those two in years!

  7. Hi Fiona! You did well! I loved "You Again." Lazily stretching cats make me jealous! Oh no! Belgium just scored! Sorry! I'm watching the World Cup as I type! I'm sure England's fans were devastated when their team got eliminated. I really liked your soccer photo with its crossed fingers! Take care!

  8. If I'm looking for something, I can never find it! That's the law of second-hand shopping.

  9. I agree, steam was the hardest one to photograph! But I love your kitty photo - what a cutie! And I love the bicycles, too.

  14. I've just found your blog and I'm so excited because I have the same exact Lambchop patterns, only mine are American! I can't believe it. Mine came from my mother-in-law, she saved it for decades. I don't knit much but I love having the patterns. :)
