I'm feeling smug today, the hotpot was in the slow cooker by 0745 and a tray of flapjacks in the oven not much later. Time to get creative with paper methinks. The card stash was getting on the low side so I thought I'd create one for a few challenges this week. No time for anything too elaborate as Dad will be arriving for Sunday lunch soon....he's off on his big adventure to Oz, NZ and Singapore later this week....lucky old him! Here's what I did.
Items used were - Hobbycraft retro telephone stamp, Versafine inkpad, Cuttlebug border embossing folder. The sentiment was computer generated and the speech bubble drawn by myself.

Apologies for dreadful photo, the light is terrible today even with a daylight bulb and we're both fed up with this gloomy weather!

Blimey, you do right to feel smug; dinner in the oven and baking done early on a Sunday morning is unheard of in this house!
ReplyDeleteLove the card (and the Blondie title!) and the glimpse of darling Prudy Puss disapproving of the weather. xxx
Great card! Hello! xx
ReplyDeleteIt's so great to see you again, Fiona! Your telephone card is excellent and such a fun design with all the hellos and telephones across the front! And the flower is gorgeous even in gloomy weather!! Thank you very much for joining in both the CASology and NBUS #3 challenges!! Have a great week! I hope to see you soon!! Hugs, Darnell
